Why You Need A Vision Board
We have seen the pretty pictures and the Pinterest boards that look adorable and would just suit the home office. The beautiful beaches and rooms of a dream house are stuck up on a board. Those might look nice, but why would I need one, you ask?
A vision board isn’t just pretty pictures; it doesn’t even have to have pictures on it. A vision board can be words, sketches or symbols. However, you like to represent your goals; whatever will invoke passion in you is what you need on your vision board. The vision board needs to be made up of YOUR dreams and goals. Why? Because you need to dream, without dreams and goals, what are you aiming for? What does it mean to be successful? If you have nothing to reach for, then how can you measure your success?
A vision board is one part of the puzzle. A visual reminder of what you are working towards. When we use visual cues, it will help us stay focused on what it is we want. When we focus with clarity, it helps to motivate us but also helps our brains to look for opportunities to bring our dreams to reality. When we dream, we shift our mindset, our attitude and belief systems to see the possibility.
Vision boards are also fluid. They change and grow as you do. Every time a new dream comes along, add it. Every year reassess your board and change what no longer resonates or makes you feel excited. Think of it as a work in progress, growing and changing as you do.
So grab some paper, a few magazines or even your laptop and get creative. Find the images that make you happy, that excite you, and that will motivate you. Get clear on what it is that you want and go for it. Have fun, laugh and even do it with a friend. The more fun you have making it, the more powerful it will be because then it will be a daily reminder of the joy of dreaming and help keep you motivated to bring the dreams to life.

❌ a struggle
❌ a sacrifice

Happiness isn’t about
❌ looking to other people
❌ being perfect
❌ feeling ecstatic all the time
It’s about finding INNER peace, a way to be with your own thoughts without fear, without worry, without your mind moving a million miles an hour.
Before you can change your life, you need to change your thoughts. It’s not about the big changes but taking small steps in the right direction.
It’s a noisy world out there, there are so many coaches shouting their message at you, Shereen is not loud, she’s not bold, she’s all about bringing the calm into the chaos. AND she’s all about breaking through the noise, the bull to give you the SCIENCE behind your happiness.
