Have you heard about Hopefull Handbags the global charity dedicated to helping Domestic Abuse Survivors one handbag at a time?..
This is an ongoing cause collecting gently used handbags along with essentials such as Shampoo, toothpaste and feminine products ( list below). All the Handbags are filled by HH volunteers and then delivered to Refuge UK or local refuges to be given to Domestic Abuse survivors
On average, 20 people per minute are abused by their partner.
This is equal to more than 10 million women and men each year in the United States alone.
We deliver HOPE – the most powerful tool for creating positive change – to survivors of domestic abuse. Along with delivering once-loved handbags full of necessities, journals and notes of inspiration, we work in our local communities and global affiliates to address issues related to domestic abuse and provide support to survivors.
